No men need to die playing this game

Looking forward to a playful 2017

Yes, we know 2016 was a disaster in more sense than one. Now it is all packed and behind us, so let’s look forward to another 300 or more days of video games.

We have curated a list of the best games that will be released sometime in 2017.

So take out a notepad and make note of the ones you need and can certainly afford through a pre-order.

1.

Lone Echo

Last year’s (feels good to say that) The Oculus was a certainly exciting VR experience. While a number of games revolve around the theme of space stations, this game stands out by way of its user interaction. Players need to find their way through zero gravity, grab onto walls and even drag their bodies forward. Moving around will get a new meaning with this game.

2.

The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild

This has probably been on the anticipated list of almost everyone. Nintendo has decided to continue with its 30-year-old game series this year by providing players with more exploration and freedom of choice in different matters.

3.

Resident Evil 7

We know hardcore players hate the movie version of this game, even with Milla Jovovich in it. But the game that gave survival horror new meaning is set to be back this year and that in first person perspective. We wonder what horrors and creatures await.

4.

Persona 5

If you are one of those with minimal patience, then good news, this game is already available, in Japanese. When high school students fight demons, it kind of becomes difficult to resist. But English-speaking fans have to wait till April for the game. Till then enjoy the reruns of Supernatural, maybe?

5.

South Park: The Fractured Whole

When South Park comes in a game version, no one says no. With X-men like overtones (stretching imagination), there is no reason why gamers should say no to the sequel of The Stick of Truth.

6.

Cuphead

Giving a major throwback nostalgia is Cuphead. With a cartoon aesthetic of 1930’s, this game has awesome graphics and difficult gaming levels. Challenge accepted!

7.

Gravity Rush 2

A combination of ideas about futuristic settlements and the Capitol from Hunger Games, this game continues to be physics defying. This time the game is coming to PlayStation 4.

8.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Yes, we all have a fascination with the Good, the Bad and the Ugly wild west. Helping us take this fascination forward is this game which comes with unrealistic graphics.

9.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Injustice2

Dawn of Justice was a disappointment but this game will ensure that none of the DC and Marvel fans will be disappointed. You still get to decide if Batman will fight Superman or some other Capcom character.

10.

Pyre

The main reason to pre-order Pyre? It comes from the creators of Bastion and Transistor. There enough said about this role-playing game.

Let the games begin!
